A Pokédex for the characters you love.
Give a character a name, a species, an element and a tag and WaifuDex files them as #001. The element you pick tints the whole entry — the header, the chips, the card in the grid — so the dex ends up looking like the people in it. Free, MIT, no account, no network.

Captures of this build are still to come. It is the same dex as the private original, rebuilt on open fonts in warm colours — the screens on the UriDex page show the same app, in blue.
Ten canonical types plus nature, void, cosmic, blood, fairy and death. Some are mixtures and look like it: ice ramps through hydro and air, lava through fire and earth. Ghost is frosted glass. Magnet is split down the middle.
An element that is not on the list still gets a colour, derived from its own name — and keeps that colour forever.
However common a tag is. If every character in your dex shares one, it still appears in the filter row and it still works.
A built-in cropper — drag, pinch, framed by the same circle the dex draws with — and the picture flies from the grid tile into the entry when you tap it.
Write and preview. It behaves about the things that usually break Markdown: 2 * 3 * 4 stays arithmetic, world_type keeps its underscore.
Two voices, two languages, 0.5× to 2×. Phones with no speech engine can run a voice inside the app instead — and the screen tells you honestly whether yours has the memory for it.
These are the real ramps out of the app's palette. Whatever you type that is not on this list gets its own, derived from the name.
